2) The system automatically crops the scan to fit the Frosting Sheets print area.

Kopykake's KwikScan V Edible Photo System is currently based around an CANON All-in-One Printer/Scanner which they bring into their facility and program, setup and test to work like a Stand-Alone Enlarging Copying Machine with their Edible Inks and Frosting Sheets. They do this so the system is virtually ready for the customers to use straight out of the box.
The Kwickscan V comes setup to work as a Stand-Alone System (not connected to a computer) to work with Kopykake's 1/4 Sheet (7.5" X 10") Frosting Sheets. However the system can be connected to a Computer via a USB Cable (not supplied but can be purchased at any office supply store). Once you connect the system to the computer you can Download Kopykake's Free Desktop Decorator Software (Download link: FREE Desktop Decorator Software) which will allow you to print on all of the other Frosting Sheet Sizes and Shapes.
